The Petty Dragownes of London was a medieval court of magical law in Southern England. It was modelled on Les Cinque Dragownes in Northern England and governed by the same body of law [37]. In 1232, the Petty Dragownes of London tried Joscelin de Snitton, a minor magician, for inappropriate use of shape-changing magic and sentenced him to having his right hand cut off [48].
