A fine old doorway in Exeter

Exeter is the county town of Devon, in the west of Southern England. It was formerly the scene of a Sidhe outrage when in 1201 no fewer than 23 persons were stolen away[66].

Exeter also once had the honour of being home to the Aureate magician Ralph Stokesey, who lived in a house opposite the city's fine cathedral. (The house vanished shortly after its owner[69].)
