A Complete Description of Dr Pale's fairy-servants, their Names, Histories, Characters and the Services they performed for Him is a book by John Segundus. It was published in 1799 by Thomas Burnham of Northampton, bookseller, and is, as the title suggests, a description and history of the fairy servants of Dr Martin Pale. Mr Norrell mentions it when Segundus and Mr Honeyfoot visit him at Hurtfew Abbey in 1806, faintly complimenting him on it as "a creditable piece of work" - though with some ill nature he at once goes on to refer to an omission. This lacuna is the name of Master Fallowthought, a fairy of whom through his superior reading in magical lore Mr Norrell is aware, and Mr. Segundus is not [1].
